These terms apply to use of this website and to plumbing services provided by Pro Plumbing Solutions, operated by Jack, Haymarket, Lytham St Anne's FY8 3LW.

Initial surveys and assessments are free of charge. Following a survey you receive a fixed written quote, and no work begins until that quote is accepted.

A quote covers the scope described in it. If further problems are found once work is under way, for example concealed pipework in worse condition than could be seen at survey, any additional work is discussed and priced with you before it is carried out.

Quotes are for the work described only. Finance options are not offered.

Emergency call-outs are available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Most jobs are completed the same day, depending on the size of the job and parts availability.

Where an emergency cannot be permanently resolved on the first visit, the priority is to make the property safe, with a return visit arranged to complete the repair with the correct parts.

Access to the property, and to the relevant water supply and isolation points, must be available at the agreed time.

All work carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee. If a fault arises from the workmanship within that period, it is put right at no labour cost to you.

The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, third-party alterations to the installation, freezing, or normal wear of consumable parts.

Parts and equipment may carry manufacturer warranties of up to five years. The length and terms depend on the manufacturer, and cover is subject to annual servicing and to the manufacturer's own conditions being met. Warranty claims on products are handled with the manufacturer.

Gas work, boiler servicing and boiler installations are not offered. Heating work is limited to radiators, pipework, hot water cylinders and heating elements. Where a job requires a gas-registered engineer, you will be told so rather than the work being attempted.

£1,000,000 public liability insurance is in force. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

No liability is accepted for pre-existing defects in a property's plumbing or fabric that were not part of the agreed scope of work.

Payment is due on completion of the work unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing beforehand. The amount payable is the accepted fixed quote, plus any additional work you have separately approved.
